Pretty As A Princess

Earlier this month, my friend Jam Inojales asked me to take her portraits before her graduation ball. I happily obliged to her request because I knew it would be such a blast working with her. Nothing beats working with friends -- there's usually no pressure (except maybe time pressure) and you're all comfortable with each other.

When I saw Jam, I was floored at how stunning her dress was! She had just come from her hair and makeup session at the salon and seeing her reminded me of my own prom days. It was such an exciting time in my life. I remember going crazy over all the preparations and feeling so worried because my then-date didn't have a boutonniere! I had to buy one at the last minute. Just thinking about those days makes me chuckle...oh, the things we used to stress over back in high school!

While we never had a grad ball, I suppose our JS prom was the closest we could get to having one. While I enjoyed mine, I thought the preparations were far more exciting than the actual event itself. Anyway, enough about me!

Here are just a few of my favorite shots of Jam in her gorgeous gray ballgown.

How was your prom/grad ball experience?

My Prom was.... It was fun! Haha! I wanted to wear something blue but my mom told me to wear pink... Turns out a lot of people were wearing pink. Hahaha.
